Delicious food at a fair price. On a Sunday evening at 8 p.m. everything else was already closed ... even the pub next door. What a lucky coincidence to end up in this somewhat cheesy Italian restaurant. Operation top! Food fantastically balanced and finely seasoned. The mascarpone gnocchi and the boletus linguine were both not too creamy, as we almost expected a bit cheeky. A good disappointment! It tasted really good!

This restaurant located in Gmund, has a beautiful red sign that immediately stands out, the restaurant seen from the street looks very small and indeed inside if you do not consider the terrace it really is, but this only makes it look even more welcoming and gives it a very warm and pleasant atmosphere..the owners are very helpful and kind, the paper is not very big but this does not mean that the taste of the food is very good..the pasta was delicious and the portions are also really great, at least if one has to pay, pay happy !! Highly recommended

We went to the restaurant after a hiking trip and would have liked to order a take away pizza. Unfortunately we were ignored by the waitress for 20 minutes. You had to show a lot of initiative to be able to articulate your question at all. The restaurant was certainly quite busy at the time, but you can at least perceive the guest, ask about their concerns and not let them stand around like "ordered and not picked up". Too bad.

Pizza tastes good, but is VERY thin. Who likes that ... I like to have a little more on my plate

We were here with 6 people, unfortunately there is not much space in this restaurant. Gnocchi with spinach and ricotta were delicious but a very small portion. Pizzas are crispy and thin but, in our opinion, not so tasty, the taste is missing somehow. But service was nice and friendly and the ambience is nicely designed.

Great Italian food at appropriate prices

It is Very rare that I review a restaurant negatively, especially based on price or portions. In life and restaurants, I focus on the good. Here, my review is "minus two" for dashing my expectations. Whether that is fair is partly irrelevant because ratings are subjective. I aim to relate my true experience. Overall, the menu is low cost. Meat dishes are mid twenties, which I expect in an Italian restaurant. Tasty pizzas range from €5.90 to €9. Here, I was frustrated by my smallest portion size of Gnocchi to this day: less than or equal to an appetizer, and twice the price of the pizzas. Gnocchi is typically inexpensive, perhaps €9 for a large plate or bowl. (E.g., an Italian restaurant just outside of Walchensee has AMAZING baked gnocchi for €8.50) Here, €14.50 brought a portion size that made a woman laugh. That was her immediate response. "Ha! ... That's it?" When a woman actually Laughs at something small, you know it's small and that everyone expects more. To the chef's credit, it was delicious, and appetites and expectations will vary.

Affordable prices for very authentic Italian food ! There are many delicious options, all Italian food lovers from meat eaters to vegans are welcome. The chefs and managers are very friendly and attentive. Nothing better than a nice meal accompanied by a nice Italian wine. Thank you for this fabulous meal ! :)
